BRANSON, MO: The Branson based Revival Fires Ministry has recently launched a series of “YELLOW-RIBBON” rallies across America, according to Cecil Todd, the organization’s founder and president.

“These rallies are dedicated to celebrating our freedoms, supporting our troops valiantly serving our country in Iraq, honoring our veterans and providing Bibles for our soldiers, deployed to Iraq,” says Todd.

Shortly after this war against international terrorism started in Iraq, Dr. Todd says he was asked by the Chief Chaplains of the Pentagon to provide Bibles for our troops, stationed in Iraq.

Todd was promised that the Bibles would be air-lifted to our servicemen and women by military transports, thus guaranteeing their delivery. This special edition of the Bible was designed and authorized by the Pentagon’s Chief Chaplains. It has a camouflaged cover, the insignia’s of all five branches of the military on the cover and special helps with photos for the soldiers on the inside! It is a full Bible, small enough for the soldiers to carry in their uniform pocket.

Revival Fires Ministry has assisted in this Bible distribution program for our troops during the past four years. During this time over 100,000 Bibles have been provided to our soldiers by Revival Fires! The ministry provided for 50,000 Bibles during Desert Storm.

In a recent letter to Dr. Todd from Lt. Col. Chaplain Brian K. Waite, the Chaplain said, “Revival Fires truly has been a genuine hero in our war on terror, by providing God’s Word for our soldiers in Iraq. I baptized sixty combat-hardened believers on Easter Sunday in the Tigris River. We now call this river, The “River of Life!” We had to baptize the converts at mid-night to avoid being shot and killed by the terrorists! The soldiers and I will always be eternally grateful to the Revival Fires Ministry and their partners for their generous provision of these Bibles!” Chaplain Waite served our country for one year in Iraq. His book, “FOR GOD AND COUNTRY” chronicles how Chaplain Waite held many dying young men in his arms, and witnessed to them, as if they were his own sons!

“YELLOW-RIBBON” rallies are already scheduled for the states of North Carolina, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, Texas, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.

Dr. Todd says, “We have an urgent call for 7,000 more Bibles right now, because of the recent deployment of 21,500 soldiers and 2,500 U.S. Marines to stop Iraq’s cycle of violence!” The Bibles cost only $4.00 each to print.
